The event is based around activity hubs situated in various picturesque areas
on site:
1. Will there be tickets available on-site during the festival?

Yes, you will be able to buy tickets on arrival at the entrance to Paardevlei, but as we are limiting numbers to ensure the festival is controlled, it will be safer to buy online prior to the event.
2. What will happen in the case of bad weather?
Most of the hubs have marquees set up, and alternative arrangements are in place. You will be directed from the front gate if venues change significantly.
3. I am not very mobile, so if the parking is far away, what do I do?
Most parking areas are easily accessible from the hubs, but you can arrange that friends drop you off close to where you want to be, and then join up with you later.
4. What does the day ticket entail?
You will exchange your ticket for a pocket card containing the full programme of events for the festival so that you can plan your visit. Many of the activities are free, but some require additional payment, e.g. food, drinks, some kiddies activities, entrance to Cheetah Outreach and a deposit on wine glasses for tastings. In addition, a wristband per day is allocated.
Alcohol will not be served to under 18's. Right of access is reserved, disruptive influences will be removed. Drinking and driving is irresponsible, we suggest that a designated driver is appointed and abstains from consuming alcohol.

Be especially careful around Cheetah Outreach & the Vlei Bird Walk as we do not want to be in any way responsible for harming or upsetting the animals who live in our area. Access is at the discretion of the individual, children are to be supervised at all times.

For your safety certain areas are off-limits. These are mainly around unoccupied buildings, construction sites and areas where the topography poses hazardous.
